Mindy Eisenberg of Yoga Moves MS provides tips and demos

As we are stuck in front of our screens day in and day out, our body and mind need a break. Mindy Eisenberg, MHSA, E-RYT-500, founder of Yoga Moves MS shares the importance of taking mini breaks as she demonstrates exercises for the back, shoulders, neck and legs. She explains that you don’t need fancy equipment or be a regular yoga practitioner to engage in these exercises - they are for everyone. Mindy also stresses the importance of eye exercises, breathing, mindfulness and various poses that you can do throughout the day to avoid back aches and other ailments that arise as we are glued to our screens.



 

Mindy provides yoga therapy for individuals with MS and other neuromuscular conditions. She views herself as a perpetual student, and seeks to learn from some of the best instructors in the country, and then apply this knowledge about yoga therapy and mindfulness to her classes. Mindy’s experience as a hospital administrator at the University of Michigan for seven years contributes to her ability to bring the Yoga Moves philosophy of healing and the importance of the mind body relationship to the health care arena.

Proceeds go to Yoga Moves MS, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing therapeutic yoga for individuals with neuromuscular conditions. Mindy Eisenberg, MHSA, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT, is the founder of Yoga Moves MS, and has provided yoga therapy to individuals with mobility challenges for over 15 years. She is the author of Adaptive Yoga Moves Any Body. Her students are her greatest teachers and are the smiling faces on these cards.
