Khodr, an immigrant from Beirut, Lebanon, came to the U.S. at the age of nine, has an Associate Degree from Henry Ford College, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of Michigan.

He is an advocate and public speaker focusing on helping those with physical, mental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Khodr also serves on the Michigan Council for Rehabilitation Services.
