Khodr Farhat knows about challenges, a word he prefers to disabilities.

Blind since birth, Khodr joined Henry Gornbein to talk about different support for individuals facing multiple challenges and the key to facing them.

Khodr, an immigrant from Beirut, Lebanon, came to the U.S. at the age of nine, has an Associate Degree from Henry Ford College, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of Michigan.

He is an advocate and public speaker focusing on helping those with physical, mental, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Khodr also serves on the Michigan Council for Rehabilitation Services.
