Friday, July 28, 2023 / Categories: Featured, Health, Cognitive Loss Family Caregiving for Individuals with Dementia Health Gracefully Greying was joined by Dr. Amanda Leggett, M.S., Ph.D., of the Institute of Gerontology and Department of Psychology at Wayne State University discussing her research on Family Caregiving for Individuals with Dementia. Amanda covers how different types of caregivers interact with family members. She received a grant from the National Institute on Aging to study and implement caregiving styles, and reviews their conclusion of the 5 different profiles of caregivers and how they can modify their views to help their family member in this episode.
