Two young girls, one who lives in the Dominican Republic and the other who lives in New York City unknowingly share a father. They both adore him. It is only after their father dies in a plane crash that they learn of the other’s existence. The bittersweet bond that develops between the two extremely different girls is touching and beautiful.
